Library Book Exchange

What to expect
During the first 15 minutes of book exchange, your child will sit and listen to a story read aloud by a parent volunteer.   (Interested in being one of our readers? Check out the Library Volunteer page!)

Following the read aloud, your child will be given a browsing stick to self-select one book for students in Grades K and 1, and up to two books for students in Grade 2.
As students finish book selection, they will participate in makerspace stations.  These are STEAM related activities that encourage problem-solving, cooperative learning, and critical thinking skills.
